You can easily tell that Vinnie was raised on a healthy diet of bluegrass, country, rock, and the blues. By mixing these styles of music he has developed a range of uniquely distinctive sounds, and in the process created as great a body of contemporary music as you could wish to hear.

Vinnie began experimenting with music at the age of six, when his father brought home a tape recorder. “That got me into music more than anything else, singing experimenting with sounds and being able to play it back.”  Vinnie quickly learned that anything can make a sound as he began banging on his mother’s pots and pans. Vinnie was fascinated by sound and music. 

In elementary school Vinnie would play with his tape recorder during recess. It wasn’t long before a group of kids gathered around to listen to him sing. With the sudden rise in popularity, Vinnie realized he had a talent for performing music.

Vinnie started taking lessons to play the saxophone and applied what he learned at those lessons to the guitar and piano. His love of music flourished as he started collecting records and replicating what he heard.
